General FAQs

How do I book a session?

Click Book Now button to enter our scheduling program to book an appointment, create an account and input payment to hold your appointment. You won’t be charged until after your session.

What are the hours of Imagine Float?

How far in advance do I need to a book a service?

Appointments are booked on a first come basis. Book early to ensure availability for your one-time or routine preferred session time.

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes! We are able to accommodate walk-in appointments when available.

Do I have to print out my reservation confirmation?

No. We will have your booking information or you can show us your reservation on your mobile device.

Is it possible to change my appointment date/time after it has been booked?

We are happy to reschedule your appointment if the change request is made at least 24 hours before your appointment. You may change your session time online through your confirmation email or contacting us directly.

What happens if I’m late to my appointment?

Sessions will begin and end when they are scheduled. Late arrivals will receive the remaining available appointment time and will be charged in full. If you are more than 15 minutes late for a floatation therapy session, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment as to not inconvenience the guests who are quietly floating and you will be charged for the full session.

Why do I have to pre-pay for my services?

Our mission at Imagine Float is to eliminate the daily stresses from your life, as much as possible. By having a credit card on file that will be charged upon completion of your service(s), this ensures that all you have to do is relax and enjoy time at Imagine Float.

Is there wi-fi access available?

While we have public wi-fi access, we strongly discourage any use of digital devices. In addition, we require you turn off all of your electronic devices during your visit.

Do you allow children?

Children ages 14-18 are able to participate in our services with the written consent of a legal guardian. Ages 16 and under must be accompanied by a legal guardian or adult over the age of 21.

Do you allow pets?

No pets are not allowed at Imagine Float. However, if you have a licensed service animal please notify an Imagine Float staff member to make accommodations for you.

Are your services ADA compliant?

We have one ADA accessible floatation therapy room with an ADA shower. We also have one ADA compliant restroom. If you require special assistance, it is mandatory that you bring a certified aid to help you in and out of your sessions during your time at Imagine Float.

Can I bring food or drinks into Imagine Float?

We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing any outside food or drink into Imagine Float. You are welcome to enjoy our complimentary tea bar in our relax and recovery area.

Policies

Arrival Policies
Clients are asked to arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before their appointment to allow for check-in. Due to the high volume of appointments, we are unable to extend a late arrival’s scheduled service. If you are more than 15 minutes late for a floatation therapy session, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment as to not inconvenience the guests who are quietly floating. You will be charged for the full session.

Etiquette
To keep our wellness center a peaceful environment and to avoid interruptions, we ask that all electronic devices be turned off (not on vibrate) and put away. We also ask that guests do not remain in the treatment rooms past their session times unless given permission by an Imagine Float staff member.

Safety Guidelines
We reserve the right to cancel an appointment if a guest is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. To experience the full benefits of our services, we recommend that alcohol, caffeine, and nicotine are not consumed before or during your sessions. Please notify our staff if you are under the care of a physician for any severe illnesses or are pregnant. While we do our best to keep a scent-free and hypoallergenic environment, you may be subjected to essential oils, incense, teas, herbs, flowers or plants. If you have allergies or sensitivities, please notify our staff before your session.

ADA Compliance
If you require special assistance, it is mandatory that you bring a certified aide to help you in and out of your sessions and during your time at Imagine Float. Float Room 3 has an ADA compliant shower. We also have an ADA compliant bathroom located at our facility.

Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, debit, and cash. We require that all services be paid in advance. We also require that a valid credit card remains on file.

Appointment Cancellations
We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel, we will gladly reschedule your treatment or give you a refund in full if the cancellation is made 24 hours prior to your appointment. Since we are a small business and have a limited number of appointments available, we are unable to refund cancellations made within 24 hours. You may cancel your session online through your confirmation email or contact us directly. Please note that once an appointment is booked – unless we hear otherwise – we’ll expect you to be there. Missed appointments will be charged in full to the card number with which they were held. In the rare event that our equipment needs to be serviced, we will notify you as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment.

Privacy
Any health or personal information that you share with us stays strictly confidential and will not be shared with third parties unless compelled to by law. We appreciate the trust you place in us and treat your information with care and responsibility.

Parking

We have free and easy parking in front of, along the side and behind our space.

If you are coming from the Farmington Valley, we recommend you take a left at the light at 320 West Main Street (Westridge Shops) and drive around the back to park in front of our space. Certain times of the day, it’s nearly impossible to take a left as you’re crossing traffic that is speeding along on Rt. 44. The last thing we all want is for you to be stressed before coming in for your float or other services.

When you leave Imagine Float and are heading towards Hartford, we recommend that you drive around the back of our space and stop at the 2 stop signs.  At the second stop sign, take a left (People’s Bank will be on your left and 320 West Main Street/Westridge Shops will be on your right).

There is a light on Rt. 44 (across from the Fresh Market plaza) that will safely allow you to turn left on to Rt. 44. Again, there are certain times of the day that will make it very challenging to take a left out of our driveway. 

Be safe and use the lights. It’ll make your day that much less stressful before or after your Imagine Float experience.
